From February 14 to 18, 2024, the salon des ind\u00e9pendants<\/a> presented for the first time in the world : MARIOUPOL 2022<\/b>, the very large table<\/strong> (300 x 205 cm) painted especially for the documentary \u00ab Mariupol, unlost hope <\/b>\u00bb<\/span>, by Max Lytvynov (produced by OUP Documentary).  On this occasion,  <\/span>Olesia TROFYMENKO<\/b><\/a>, the painter, had specially made the trip from Kyiv to present her work.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On the occasion of the exhibition of the painting \u00ab\u00a0Mariupol 2022<\/strong><\/a> \u00bb at the Grand Palais Eph\u00e9m\u00e8re, (see World Premi\u00e8re<\/a>) we had the chance to meet the Director of the University Campus (Cit\u00e9 U.) of Paris.<\/p>

An art lover, and impressed by the power<\/strong> of the work, he did not hesitate to offer us an exhibition space within the Cit\u00e9 U.<\/p>

And what a space: The main hall <\/strong>!<\/p>

We were delighted that this work continued on and found a new audience: young<\/strong> people and students<\/strong>.<\/p>

He then confided to me that he was happy, in accordance with his convictions as a convinced Democratic<\/strong> citizen, to have discovered this painting because he sought to exhibit within the Cit\u00e9 U, a masterful<\/strong> work on the Ukrainian tragedy<\/strong> so as not to forget this conflict and keep the consciences awake<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

As part of the UKRAFT<\/strong> exhibitions \u2013 a meeting between French and Ukrainian artists \u2013 and following two consecutive years of exhibitions at the Lviv Museum of Fine Arts in Ukraine, the city of Clermont-Ferrand invited the cultural association La Vie en Relief<\/strong> to organize UKRAFT in France. This was a \u00ab\u00a0premi\u00e8re\u00a0\u00bb.<\/p>

From November 22, 2025, to January 17, 2026, 18 French-Ukrainian artists<\/strong> gathered at the Espace Gilbert Gaillard.<\/p>

The city council wanted the original painting \u00ab\u00a0Mariupol2022\u00a0\u00bb to occupy a prominent place in this gallery.<\/p>

The artist Olesia Trofymenko was present at the opening and was in high demand from the media.<\/p>
